Frequently Asked Questions

Station Delay History shows the average delay of all trains passing through a station over a selected time period. It helps you understand how punctual trains typically are at any given station.

Station codes are typically 2–6 uppercase letters. For example, New Delhi is NDLS, Mumbai CST is CSMT, Howrah is HWH. You can find the code on your train ticket. You can also start typing and the search box will suggest matching stations.

The chart shows average delay of all trains at the station by date or date range. Peaks represent days when trains were particularly delayed — often due to seasonal factors, holidays, or infrastructure issues.
Station delay data is collected from live train tracking.
